Great drinks, the manager sadi came by and made everything on point. The pineapple fried rice.... Exceptional !! Great recommendation by him. He also told me about the porn star martini and it came with a little champagne on the side. Will be back with friends.

From the moment I walked in, the experience at this restaurant was absolutely impeccable. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and perfectly curated in every detail, creating an ideal atmosphere for enjoying an excellent meal. The service was simply exceptional. The waiter, Julio, demonstrated a level of attention and professionalism rarely found: always attentive, friendly, and with perfect knowledge of the menu, making sound recommendations that further elevated my experience. Each dish arrived at just the right time and was impeccably presented. Furthermore, the manager, Sadi, took the time to visit my table to ensure everything was to my liking, showing genuine concern for customer satisfaction. His kindness and positive attitude reflect the high level of commitment to quality service. Without a doubt, this Philippe Chow DC is a model of excellence, not only for its first-class cuisine but also for the wonderful team that makes it possible. I will definitely return and we recommend it 100%!

I had an incredible dining experience at Philippe Chow, and I have to give special recognition to the outstanding staff who made it truly memorable. From the moment I arrived until the very end of the evening, the service was impeccable. George, the General Manager, was absolutely phenomenal. He was warm, welcoming, and incredibly personable. You can tell he genuinely cares about every guest’s experience, and his presence elevated the entire atmosphere of the restaurant. He checked in on our table throughout the night, making sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. His professionalism and charisma really stood out. Our waiter, Julio, was equally amazing. Attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, he made great recommendations and ensured our meal flowed smoothly. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made us feel truly taken care of. The combination of excellent food and a staff that clearly values hospitality made for a five-star experience. George and Julio are the kind of people who turn a good dinner into a great night out. I’ll definitely be returning—and recommending Philippe Chow to everyone I know.

Philippe Chow in DC exceeded our expectations with its exceptional service and delightful cuisine. We were promptly seated upon arrival, and our waiter, Julio, provided attentive and friendly service throughout the evening. We kicked off our meal with unique cocktails the lychee martini with a coconut cream twist and the Passia Florida with a tajin rim both were refreshing and inventive. For appetizers, the hot and sour soup, chicken truffle pot stickers, and dry-aged crispy beef dumplings were all fantastic, with the pot stickers being a standout. For our main courses, the Kung Pao chicken and fried rice were deliciously satisfying. The ambiance was equally impressive, with a perfect view of the boardwalk and marina from our glass seating. Overall, I highly recommend Philippe Chow for its remarkable food, outstanding service, and inviting atmosphere!

My cousin and I were in DC for Facials at Silver Mirror Facial Bar. We decided to make a day in DC. I have the BucketListers app on my phone. Checked out some things to do in DC and discovered that Philippe Chow was doing a Dining Experience. Very pricey but worth it in the end Moet & Satay -- 4 Course Luxe Dining Experience -- 1 Bottle Of Moet & Chandon Champagne For Every 2 Guests -- Two Courses Of Our Most Popular Appetizers For The Table -- One Entree Per Guest -- Chefs Selection Of Desserts For The Table Paradise Bay -- Blue Chair Bay Banana Rum, peach schnapps, pineapple, grenadine First Course All Items Served For The Table -- Chicken Satay -- Duck Spring Rolls -- Steamed Edamame -- Lobster Wonton Chips -- chilled lobster, avocado, lettuce, tangy mayo sauce Second Course All Items Served For The Table -- Chicken Lettuce Wraps -- Vegetable Lo Mein -- Truffle and Chicken Potstickers Choice of Entree -- Sweet and Sour Chicken -- Chicken breast tenders; red and green bell pepper, pineapple, sweet and sour sauce -- Filet Mignon and Green Beans* -- spicy brown garlic sauce Desserts All Items Served For The Table -- Red Velvet Cake Moet Macaroons It was the first day of this experience so there was a little fumbling when we arrived to check in. No worries. Everyone was super friendly from the hostesses to the waiters. A service from everyone. The meal was superb. Everything was tasty and it was a lot of food. We expected the dishes to be half of the original menu bc "experience". We loved everything (except the Edamame -- it was super salty) and ended up having to take most of it home bc it was A LOT!! My favorites from the Menu: -- Duck Spring Rolls, Lobster Wonton Chips, Vegetable Lo Mein, Truffle and Chicken Potstickers and the Sweet and Sour Chicken The drinks were fire and each one hit!! Staff was lovely, they checked in with us but didn't hover, asked us about our experience with discovering and checking into the dining experience. We had such a good time, we forget that we didn't get our bottle of Moet & Chandon for the table. We will definitely be returning for a patio seat!!

For our second anniversary, my boyfriend surprised me with dinner at Philippe Chow, and I have to say—it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Our entrees were absolutely delicious. I had the lobster noodles, which were rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My boyfriend ordered the surf and turf and mentioned more than once how much he enjoyed it. The appetizers and drinks were good and complemented the meal well, but it was our main dishes that really stood out. What truly made the night special was the outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, our waiter Julio made us feel incredibly welcomed and genuinely cared for. There was a thoughtful moment when my hot and sour soup arrived noticeably before my boyfriend’s wonton soup. Julio, along with the support staff, immediately noticed and—without hesitation—insisted on taking my soup and bringing out a fresh one so we could enjoy them together. That level of attentiveness and care is rare and deeply appreciated. The ambience at Philippe Chow is stunning, but it was the combination of delicious food and exceptional service that made this night unforgettable. Julio went above and beyond, especially knowing it was our anniversary, and helped make it feel personal and celebratory. I would gladly return just for the service alone. A perfect 10 out of 10 experience. If you’re looking for great food, warm hospitality, and a beautiful setting, Philippe Chow at DC Wharf is a must.

My partner and I stopped by Philippe Chow on the SW waterfront for a quick date night before a nearby play—and despite our initial hesitation due to low rating and mixed reviews regarding a decline in food quality and atmosphere, we had a surprisingly great experience. From the moment we walked in, the service stood out. We were seated immediately in a quiet room toward the back—perfect for conversation without the usual restaurant noise. A staff member promptly welcomed us and took our water preferences, followed shortly by our server who came to take our drink orders. I opted for the Kiss Of The Dragon Sidecar—right up my alley (IYKYK if you follow my reviews). It was so well-made I had to order a second round. For appetizers, the chicken lettuce wraps were a hit: simple, flavorful, and more substantial than expected without being overly filling. My entree was the Spicy Lobster Noodles with a side of fried vegetable rice. The dish was delicious, with just the right amount of heat. While I would’ve liked a bit more lobster for the price, the flavor didn’t disappoint. The only hiccup came at checkout. Our server took a little longer than expected to return, and the QR code option didn’t work since our bill hadn’t been updated with all our items. This delayed us and made us a little late to our play. Going forward, it would be great if bills were updated in real-time for quicker exits. All in all, I’m glad we gave Philippe Chow a chance. Despite the previous negative reviews, our visit was memorable and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back—next time for something more adventurous, and of course, another sidecar.
